MEET
OUR STAFF |

Our
Extendicare staff performs
their duties with courtesy and professionalism. The clinical
staff consists of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses,
and certified nursing assistants. Our nursing staff is specially
trained and skilled in the delivery of specialized care for the
elderly residents. Each nursing assistant is certified through
the State of Alabama to provide assistance with the daily needs
of our residents. |

The Social
Services Department is
staffed with a full-time licensed social worker whose primary
function is to assess the psychosocial and social needs of each
resident. This enables us to better individualize each resident's
care. |
 |
Community
Resource Services. Extendicare Health and Rehabilitation Center is
committed to our community and to educating our elderly about
the issues surrounding long-term care. Through our Community
Resource Department, we offer brochures and educational materials
to assist families in the decision making process. Our Speakers
Bureau is available to bring presentations to your church, civic
organization, or employee group. If we can assist you with these

Our Activities
Department is committed
to providing daily activities designed to enhance our resident's
quality of life. With over 20 different activity opportunities
offered each week, there is sure to be "something for everyone"
to enjoy. |

Our Dietary
Staff provides assistance
for our residents' daily needs. Meal
times offer nourishment for the body and soul. Our select menu
option enables residents to enjoy their favorite foods each day. |

Our Housekeeping and
Maintenance staff is
dedicated in providing a clean, attractive atmosphere.
From administration to our service
staff, Extendicare's primary focus is the provision of individualized,
high quality care that assures our residents of the best quality
of life. It is our privilege to know each of our residents and
share their home each day.
